How do I install Hotspot Shield on my computer?
For Windows based computers, click on the .exe file and follow the script and the promptings from the Installer application on your computer.
For Mac based computers (OS X and later), click on the .dmg file on your desktop. Then drag the Hotspot Shield application into your Applications folder.
How do I run Hotspot Shield?
After you installed Hotspot Shield on your computer, a small red shield was placed in the bottom right corner of your icon bar (or on the top menu bar for Macs). Click on the red shield and choose ‘Connect’ from the menu. A browser window will open and begin to connect to the internet securely. Once the shield turns green, it is safe to browse the internet.
How much bandwidth do I get every month?
Each user is allowed 10GB of bandwidth per month.
How do I turn Hotspot Shield off (disconnect)?
Click on the green shield and select ‘Quit’ from the menu. Once the shield turns red, Hotspot Shield has been disconnected.

Hello! babu I’ve never tried hotspotshield in my mobile devices since I usually don’t use them for browsing and internet surfing but you can try them experiment with hotspot shield in your mobile device is the best way to know if it works there is no harm in trying and you can delete them if it will nor work. The best thing with the new technology is the freedom to use them in whatever way we can through trial and error and that’s what I always do.

So far there is no legal problems from local service providers as this software only hides your true IP address to prevent hackers from corrupting your computers and files and also it allows you to have access to sites blocked by your local service providers as per your government laws regarding the use of the internet. It works with the normal dial-up connection too but the problem with using it in a dial-up connection is that your browsing will get slower or may hang up.
I have been using HSS for quite long but its not working any more now.. it gets stuck on ‘pulling option’. is there anybody from UAE having same problem of is there any solution to get rid of it or is there any other alternaive of hotspot shield?
i encounter the same problem like zeeshan, is their a way for our problem? am in the pulling option all the time and at times at the TCP wait and it goes on and. any body who knows a way how to troubleshoot?

So almost the same problem the three of you. : ) Well this is just a suggestion because until now I still don’t find any problem with using HSS. Why don’t you try to uninstall HSS first and then reinstall it if it’s still the same I would try to figure out how to fix your problem with HSS.
Its a bug in HSS and i am sure because whan i go back to ver 1.03 it works but it wont let me use the net until i upgrad to 1.04. if all the others with this problem as a dial up connection then the problem is there somthing to do with the vpn i think.
I got same problem as Zeeshan, bruce, Cedric.. I thought that’s because my bandwidth limit exceed 10GB, so it should be renewed by 1st of next month? But it’s not.. (Today is 1st of June.) I tried re-installing, doesn’t help =\
